修改前 My special experience as a volunteer
I was a volunteer in the library last summer holiday. However, something special happened to me during my work. A boy returned me a book that he had borrowed from the library. But after a few minutes, I couldn’t find the book! I was very nervous because I made a mistake. I had to pay for the missing book. Although I could have the excuse that I never found the book to avoid punishment, I still admitted that it was my fault. Suddenly, a staff member called me and reminded me that there was a book on my seat. That was the missing one! When I was praised by all the staff in the library，I felt too proud of myself to say a word. From the special experience, I learned about taking responsibility is very important. It makes you a more responsible and respectable person.
