In order to aid freshmen in familiarizing themselves with university facilities and their classmates, as well as to prepare for further studies, as a member of the student union, I would like to make some suggestions about the upcoming orientation program.
The orientation program will be held on the first Saturday in September. All freshmen of our university need to take part in. The program consists of two activities. The first one is a campus tour, in which volunteers will show students around from 9:00 to 12:00. The first year students will have chances to inquire questions about the university, freely chat with their new friends and get acquainted with the university and freshmen at the same time. The second one is an orientation lecture in the Great Auditorium.
